Concentrating on three passages that all have amazing connections. Zechariah 9.9, Genesis 49.11 and 1 Samuel 9.3-10. To really understand these passages you have to read them! Torah is so amazing. All words are linked together over a period of thousands of years teaching hidden messages about life and the future but only for those who listen (Shma Torah)
” Rejoice greatly” O daughter of Zion: SHOUT…Oh daughter of Zion…behold your King comes to you. He is just and brings salvation, Humble and riding on the foal of a donkey…upon a colt of an ass.”
Zech.9.9
The hebrew word for “ride” (racav) is the same word as Chariot. This king would come not as the Egyptians riding chariots but He was to ride in complete humility. The Donkey was the animal of PEACE and HUMILITY unlike the horse which was an animal of war and pride. There are two different hebrew words for donkey used. The first is (Chamor) and is the same word as “Homer” which was the he brew measure of capacity….to heap as much of what you are buying into the measuring container…the donkey you could heap as much on him and he would carry it…that is why the words are the same. “Even the foal of a dokey”…the hebrew word is (Yee-ear) which translates to a young newly broken young ass that has just been broken with the heaviest of loads”
Where do we see the Hebrew word again in Torah for Donkey? (At-note)….
Genesis 49.10-12 “The setter shall not depart from Judah….until Shiloh comes, and unto HIM
shall the gathering of the people be.
Binding his FOAL unto the VINE, and his ASS’S COLT unto the choice VINE
He washed his garments in WINE and clothes in the blood of grapes….”
The Vine (Gephen) is bound to the Foal
The “Choice Wine” to the female donkey
Why was the first miracle of the one called “Yeshua Ha Masiach” the turning of water into “choice wine”? Why on his last PESACH did he enter Jerusalem riding upon the foal of a donkey in humility?
The 3rd passage that links these together with the word for Donkey is 1 Samuel 9.3-10. The first King chosen by God was Saul. He gave the Israelites the King they wanted…” a choice man, a godly person” How did Samuel find him? He was searching for his fathers lost female DONKEY!!! He never found the donkey but was found by God.”
